Our Lessons

Our lessons are suitable for ages 5+, and open to all skill levels. Skateboards, safety pads, and helmets can be made available to borrow, just let us know. You can book an individual lesson, or sign up for recurring lessons.

We are constantly working towards providing more lessons for those who identify as female, and non-binary. All of our girls only lessons are suitable for all ages, all skill levels, and anyone who does not identify as male. During winter we try to run these lessons indoors, which are usually free thanks to our funding providers.

We offer private lessons all year round, with just you and the coach. The price is $60 for a 1-hour lesson, each additional person is $20. We can run these lessons at your local skatepark, travel costs are not included. You can book through our website, or send us a message.

Skate Ed also operates within schools around the Wellington Region, we are always eager to get more schools involved with our work. We can provide 2 experienced first aid trained coaches, as well as skateboards and helmets for short-term give it a go lessons. Check out our current after school skateboarding lessons, these are open to year 3 students and up. Book in for an individual class or the full term, students must have their own skateboard and helmet.

Have you ever wanted a skateboarding themed birthday party? We offer private bookings for groups of up to 15, the price depends on your location. We can provide skateboards and safety equipment for 15 people, as well as 2 first aid trained coaches. If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to send us a message.
